Former Ambassador of Viet Nam to the EU and Belgium Former Vice Chair, Foreign Affairs Committee, Viet Nam National Assembly As an academic (1969-1979), a career diplomat (Ambassador of Viet Nam to the E.U. and Belgium, 2000-2003), an elected official (Vice Chair, Foreign Affairs Committee, Viet Nam National Assembly, 2003-2007) and today, an educational and social cultural ambassador, Madam Ninh has constantly worked to build bridges of understanding and cooperation between Viet Nam and the world. Among other continuing domestic and international commitments, she is consistently engaged in post-war legacy issues, such as rapprochement with the Vietnamese diaspora and the impact of Agent Orange/Dioxin in Viet Nam, as well as gender advancement, youth outreach and nation branding. Through her frequent interaction with the public, especially youth and women, she is known as one of the public figures having an impact in today's Viet Nam. |

Founder and CEO, Center for Social Initiatives Promotion (CSIP)
Madam Pham Kieu Oanh is the founder and CEO of the Center for Social Initiatives Promotion (CSIP) in Ha Noi, Viet Nam. She is a pioneer and an expert in social entrepreneurship development, child protection, and women's rights. With CSIP, Madam Oanh has built a new sector of social entrepreneurship in Viet Nam and the region. From 2009 to 2013, CSIP has built a pipeline of 52 social enterprises, which contributes to improve the life of 200,000 disadvantaged people. Madam Oanh is also the co-founder of Social Enterprise Asian Network, member of Asian Venture Philanthropies Association, founder of Viet Nam Social Entrepreneurs Club, etc. IN the last 20 years, she undertook numerous positions in the Government agencies, international non-governmental organizations and UN agencies. Madam Oanh obtained BA in Philosophy with the Ha Noi University and MA in Sociology and Anthropology at Monash University, Australia. |
Secretary Gereral, Viet Nam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI)
Dr. Pham Thi Thu Hang obtained her Doctor of Philosophy in Economics at Lomonosov University, Moscow in 1990. She was assigned as Secretary General of Viet Nam Chamber of Commerce and Industry in July, 2011. She has also been Director of Small and Medium Enterprise Promotion Cnter of VCCI since 2001 cum Director of Business Development Institute - an R&D unit of VCCI since 2004 until now. From 2001 to 2008, she was standing vice president of the Vietnamese Women Entrepreneurs Council. |
