The filmmaking competition “How Abnormal” welcomes passionate teams and individuals to apply. There are no limits for the applicants in terms of filmmaking experience, age, number and nationality of team members (for teams). The eligible applicants should fulfill the following criteria:

- The individuals or team leader must hold Vietnamese citizenship;

- The individuals or team leader must be 18 years old or above. If under 18, the applicants need to have the approval from their parents/legal guardians;

Restriction for applicants who are:

- Currently working for the organizers and/or directly involved in the planning and implementation of the competition.

When agreed by the contestants, the organizers may use submitted personal information, pictures, scripts and films of the selected applicants for the promotional purposes of the competition. All final films developed under the competition require the UNDP’s approval for showing outside the competition. The producers of the films are encouraged to more widely disseminate the films and the UNDP’s contribution to the film development needs to be visibly recognized.
