Gender Action Partnership (GAP) was initiated in 1999 by the National Committee for the Advancement of Women (NCFAW) and development partners with the aim of promoting gender equality in Viet Nam. UN Women and MOLISA now would like to strengthen it as a partnership forum for promotion of gender equality, and suggest the revision of GAP’s TOR and its management and operation to make sure that GAP is an inclusive, effective and sustainable forum that meets the needs of the government and stakeholders in advancing gender equality in Viet Nam.

Therefore, UN Women is now seeking a qualified national consultant who will support UN Women and MOLISA to review the relevance, format and effectiveness of GAP and finally, propose recommendations for enhancing its effectiveness against its objectives and its functioning as a critical forum for dialogue and knowledge exchange on gender equality issues in Viet Nam.
